Around the 1900s , a battle was being born , according to the artists of the time : The photograph was coming to settle the painting. This has for centuries been responsible for documenting places and people , would be ostracized by the photographic art , with its infinite capacity to reproduce faithfully from an original negative , the technique fairly easier than painting ? As always , the survival of something should exclusiveness factor , with the paint lifting them up to a level of personal and unique thing . In current times , with easy access to technical and economic ,the photography was almost trivialized, making some photographers approach the painting as inspiration , imposing large limits of perfection in control of the scene and light , reaching status of works art . Among some magnificent photographers in this type of application I would cite Ale Bursett , Argentine award-winning photographer, the brazilian Miro , somewhat unknown to the public , but photographers and regarded by critics as one of the Top Five of Brazil , and the mega top Dutch photographer Erwin Olaf .
